After many days of planning, lots of phone calls, and very many hours of driving, I was able to travel the perfect eclipse spot in Hopkinsville, KY. Although it was very hot and humid, it was the perfect time for hanging out with close friends and new ones. I had to make my own lens filter for my camera in order to be able to capture the eclipsing sun out of one of the lenses from a pair of the solar glasses and cardboard from an 8-pack of bubbly water! When the totality time started, it was something out of a dream. I had never seen something to pure and stunning in my life. If ever a chance to see a total eclipse again, I would 100% do it!
